Pilates Private Lessons - Mat & Reformer Combination

  • Private lessons are ideal for clients wanting to work on specific issues, use the Reformer (Pilates machine), or just prefer to work one on one.
  • Includes suggested home exercise programme.
  • Combination mat and reformer (Pilates machine) lessons available in Loburn: We release muscle tension and increase body awareness using small equipment and / or the mat,  then reformer work, with a little mat or small equipment work  to finish. The perfect combination!
  • Gift vouchers available – includes custom 100% cotton grip socks worth $10
  • Private lessons in the Loburn studio $80 per 55 minutes (initial and follow on). $40 per 25 minutes also available for follow on private lessons if this suits you better. On site home visits available on request, subject to travel fee.

Pilates4Dyspraxia

  • Qualitative Pilates is also the home of Pilates4Dyspraxia.
  • MaryAnne began to pioneer specifically adapted Pilates as a treatment for Dyspraxia in 1999, offering individual sessions for clients with Dyspraxia as well as training and resources for health professionals, teachers and parents of children with Dyspraxia.

One Off Workshops

  • Pilates Basics Workshops – pathway to Foundation Classes if you are new to Pilates.
  • Pilates for Men – the basics of how to use your core and body awareness to protect your spine and other joints.
  • Footwork Balance & Walking – from the tips of your toes to the top of your head, Pilates can make a difference.
  • Stability Rollers & Physio Balls – have some fun challenging yourself with Pilates on these unstable surfaces. For existing clients attending Progressive Classes.
  • Move Freely Stretch & Release – focusing on the neck, shoulders, spine and pelvis/hips, learn how to move with ease.
  • Magic Massage Balls – incredible little bit of kit, magic for muscle tension, freedom of movement and body awareness. Includes your own ball to bring home.

Mums & Bubs Pilates

  • Introductory taster session needed before attending the ongoing classes if you are new to Pilates.
  • Classes run in line with term time in Rangiora, right next to the Plunkett Rooms.
  • Maximum of 8 clients along with their non mobile bundles of joy (crawlers okay but sorry not toddlers).
  • All equipment provided including mats – you’re already lugging enough baby gear about!
  • Suitable also for pregnancy from second trimester – we can adapt exercises where needed.
  • Make sure your health professional has cleared you for gentle exercise.
  • Suitable for all levels of ability.

Qualitative Pilates Group Classes

  • Qualitative Pilates Group Classes are taught by MaryAnne who has a physio background and are booked and paid for by the term.
  • Classes are $18 per 55 minutes with all equipment provided, including mats.
  • Foundation, Progressive and Mums & Bubs options.
